This is my personal portfolio. It collects as little as it can: what you send me through the contact form, anonymous page counts, and, only if you accept, an analytics cookie. Nothing is sold or used for ads. Email work@utkarshdesign.com for anything about your data.
Who is responsible
Utkarsh Dhairya Panwar, an independent product designer based in India, runs utkarshdesign.com and decides how the data described here is used. You can reach me at work@utkarshdesign.com.
What I collect and why

I don't run ads, don't use advertising cookies, and never sell or rent personal data.
Things that stay on your device
- Your theme, desktop settings, desktop pet, caption preference, cookie choice, a short weather cache and any design brief draft are saved in your browser's local storage. They are never sent to me.
- Gesture Mode is off by default. If you turn it on, your camera feed is processed inside your browser by Google's MediaPipe hand-tracking model (loaded from the jsDelivr CDN). No video or image leaves your device.
- The playground pieces (Mitti, Sketchpad, Type Piano and the others) run in your browser. Anything you draw or type there stays with you.
Other services you might use from here
Booking a call opens Cal.com, and the WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Instagram and Behance links take you to those platforms. Each one handles your data under its own privacy policy.
How long I keep it
Contact form messages stay in my email for as long as we're talking and then as normal business records, unless you ask me to delete them. Vercel and Microsoft keep analytics data for their standard periods (Clarity keeps recordings for about 30 days).
Your rights
Wherever you are, you can ask me to show you the personal data I hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw consent to analytics cookies at any time from the cookie notice or by clearing this site's storage. If you're in the EU or UK (GDPR) or India (DPDP Act 2023), these are also your legal rights. Write to work@utkarshdesign.com and I'll answer within 30 days.
Changes
If what the site collects changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves.
