B2B SaaS product and website design

Work · Updated

Most of my work is B2B SaaS. As founding designer at CodeAnt AI (YC W24) I design the product, Framer website, brand and design system, and before that I worked with xPay and Entvin. Below, the work is grouped by the problem it solved.

What changes when the buyer is a company

In B2B software the person who signs up is rarely the person who pays, and often not the person who can finish setup. A developer finds CodeAnt, but connecting a company repo needs an org admin. A manager approves the budget, but only looks at a dashboard once a week.

So I design for three readers at once: the user doing the work, the admin who unblocks it, and the buyer who decides if it stays. Most SaaS screens fail one of them, and the funnel usually tells you which.

Proof, and how to start

CodeAnt AI case study: Onboarding, dashboards, website and brand for a code health platform that went from $0 to a $60M valuation while I was its only designer.

Working with Utkarsh is like compressing five years of design into a single month. His speed, taste, and craft consistently push our brand to new heights.

  • Trials that stall: an onboarding audit, about two weeks. See the SaaS onboarding audit.
  • One flow or dashboard that needs fixing: a design sprint of two to four weeks. See SaaS product design.
  • A product that changes every sprint: ongoing product design, from $4,500/month. The pricing page lists the rest.

I'm one designer covering product UX, the Framer website and the brand, so the dashboard, the pricing page and the onboarding email come from the same head. I can't put five people on a deadline, though. If you need a full product redesign and a site rebuild in the same month, a team will serve you better.

Questions people ask

Do you only design B2B SaaS?

Most of my recent work is B2B SaaS, mainly CodeAnt AI and xPay. I've also designed consumer fintech at FamPay and high-traffic sports pages at Sportskeeda.

Can you design the product and the marketing site together?

Yes. At CodeAnt I design both, and I build the website in Framer, so the product screens and the site use the same visual system.

How do I start a project with you?

Email work@utkarshdesign.com with the problem and the number you'd like to move. I reply with questions and a suggested scope before anything is priced.
