UI/UX design services for startups and SaaS
Service · Updated
I offer UI/UX design for startups and SaaS in three forms: product UI/UX (the app), web UI/UX (marketing sites I design and build in Framer), and UX audits of a live product. I've been founding designer at CodeAnt AI (YC W24) since June 2024, and I do the work myself.
Which kind of UI/UX work you need
"UI/UX design" covers jobs with little in common. A dashboard where managers decide what to fix, a homepage that explains a product in one screen and a review of why trials don't convert are separate projects with separate deliverables. Find yours in the table.
| Your situation | What you need | Typical shape |
|---|---|---|
| You're building or reworking the app: onboarding, core workflows, dashboards | Product UI/UX | A project on one area of the product, or ongoing monthly work |
| The website is out of date, or you don't have one yet | Web UI/UX, built in Framer | A 5 to 10 page site in three to six weeks, or a single landing page in one to two |
| The product is live and something isn't working, but you don't know what | A UX audit | About three weeks, ending in a ranked fix list |
| You have no designer and decisions come up every week | Fractional product design | Part of every week, month to month |
If you're unsure, ask whether there's a live product with real users. If there is, an audit usually finds the cheapest fixes first. If not, design the product.
Product UI/UX
Most of my work is B2B SaaS: onboarding, the screens people use every week, and the states nobody designs (empty, loading, failed sync, no permission, 3 rows against 3,000). At CodeAnt the manager dashboards I designed cut org-level triage time by 35%.
SaaS product design: Onboarding, core workflows, dashboards and the design system that keeps them consistent. What you get and how a project runs.
Mobile app design: For app work, including payment flows and error states like the ones I redesigned at FamPay.
Web UI/UX
On a marketing site, UX is mostly order and proof: what the visitor has to believe before the button makes sense. I design the page map and the pages, then build them in Framer myself, so no details get lost in a handoff to a developer. I designed codeant.ai, and its conversion rate has doubled since launch.
Framer developer: Websites and landing pages designed and built in Framer, with CMS, SEO setup and a handover.
Startup website design: A first website for a seed-stage company: which pages to build now and which can wait.
Graphic and marketing design: Launch graphics, ad creatives, posters and decks in the same visual system as the site.
UX audits
An audit is for a live product. I go through the core flows with realistic data, check them against your funnel numbers and a sample of support tickets, and hand back a ranked fix list with redesigns of the two or three worst screens.
UX audit: Whole-product audit: core workflows, errors, settings and consistency, in about three weeks.
SaaS onboarding audit: A narrower audit of signup to first value, in about two weeks.
How I work, whichever service it is
- I agree flows with you in writing before any high-fidelity screens, so the debate is about the problem rather than the colours.
- Every screen comes with its empty, loading and error states as well as the happy path.
- Designs live in Figma with named components, so whoever builds them, or joins after me, can find their way around.
- I'm in India (IST, UTC+5:30). UK, EU, Middle East and APAC teams get live overlap most days; US teams get an evening window and written updates.
I'm not the right fit if you need a large agency bench working in parallel, or a developer to build the app itself. I design products and build websites in Framer. I don't write production app code.

Questions people ask
What do UI/UX design services for a startup include?
Product work covers flows, screens with all their states and a component system. Web work covers the page map, the design and a built Framer site. An audit gives you a ranked fix list and redesigns of the worst screens.
How much do your UI/UX design services cost?
Product design starts from $4,500/month, a UX audit from $900, a Framer landing page from $1,000 and a 5 to 8 page Framer website from $3,500. Final quotes depend on scope.
Do you also develop the product?
No. I design the product and hand engineers a clear Figma file. I do build marketing websites myself, in Framer.
